Mission Statement
As a chapter of NADE, OADE is committed to:
  • Providing students the scaffolding necessary to achieve college level success and to become lifelong learners.
  • Providing members opportunities for continuing professional development and networking.
  • Providing the public with information about the needs and successes of developmental students and educators.

Membership Forms

Privacy Policy: OADE does not sell membership information to any outside parties.

 

Please note that the membership year follows the calendar; that is, all memberships expire on December 31 of each year, unless renewed. (OADE's fiscal year is different, going from July 1 through June 30.)

2007-2008 Board Meeting Dates

Members are always welcome to attend Board Meetings.  Contact David Haiduc, President, for the location of the meeting. He can be reached at david.haiduc@tri-c.edu  Meetings are held on Fridays from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

OADE Adjunct Conference Award

All Adjunct Professionals who have never attended the OADE conference and who are currently involved in Developmental Education in the state of Ohio are encouraged to apply for a one-time award to attend the OADE Conference.  Applicants must agree to attend at least the equivalent of one full day of the conference.  The conference fee will be waived for successful applicants.  OADE will reimburse successful applicants for up to $100 in documented conference expenses, including hotel room, dinner, and travel expenses at $0.30 per mile.  Receipts must be submitted to the OADE treasurer within 10 days of the end of the conference.
